Mother's Day 2010

It was a wonderful Mother's Day this year. We had a BBQ with my folks and played in their pool. I received a delectably scented candle and we gave my mother a photo book of the kids (we give her one every year). My mother is such an awesome Nana. My heart swells just thinking about it. Just look at the picture below...she is so silly! She is fun and quite entertaining. The kids adore her. Nana's house is the place to be and the kids ask everyday if they can see their grandparents. Oh, I know I'm their mother and important as well, but there is just something about my parents that is magical. I hope I can learn that magic and pass it on to my own kids and grandkids. =)

Zumba Halftime show

On April 9th, I had the privilege of participating in a halftime performance for ZUMBA. All across the country, Zumba instructors were invited to perform at halftime of NBA games. This night in particular was the New Orleans Hornets vs. Utah Jazz. My parents and brother Mikey came to support me and cheer on their favorite team...the Jazz, of course! I am truly blessed to be able to have a job that I love that has great perks like this. =)

I was excited to have gotten this picture of the opening jump shot

My bff Lauren attended the game as well. She was only six rows from the court and took this picture. She also took video of our performance. She's a great friend!
