We all were excited to have Sophia visit this past weekend for her Daddy's birthday. It had been way too long since her last visit so we were all very happy. She was able to have a lot of Daddy and Cousin time. On Saturday, we took the kids to Global Wildlife to feed the animals. It is a favorite pastime for the little ones as well as the adults. Who doesn't love llamas and giraffes? =) The giraffes were not out that day but we had a great time nonetheless. Sophia even prayed one evening before dinner, it was the cutest thing! Dad asked if we were ready to pray and she launched into her blessing of the meal...quite precious!
Luke celebrated his birthday on Friday and my father celebrated his birthday on Saturday. Luke is a great father and uncle (and Godfather to Natalie, FYI). He's a good brother to have and I love him so very much! No matter what has happened in our lives, we have always been there for each other. I'm also very proud to have the father that I do. He is one of the greatest people I know. He is extremely intelligent, fair in judgment, kind hearted, doting grandpa, and just all around wonderful. My father-in-law is a lot like him, actually. I am a very blessed girl to have two amazing dads!
